As the number of photos in your catalog grows, finding the right photo becomes more and more important. One of the best ways to do this is to assign keywords to your photo(s). Keyword tags are text metadata used to describe the content of a photo. Unlike collections, keywords can be stored in file metadata and understood by a wide range of software, so your efforts won't be wasted even if you switch to other software later.
Image recognition software is already capable of identifying many objects, reducing the need for keywords. The My Auto Tags plugin adds similar functionality to Lightroom Classic locally. To do this, the automatic image labeling technology Image allows you to automatically assign the appropriate tags or keywords to extensive collections of images and videos.
